ADMISSIONS
The Batt School welcomes parents to visit the school and apply for admission year round. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, national or ethnic origin, gender, or religion in administration of our educational or admissions policies.
Discipline
The Batt School stresses a positive approach to discipline, helping students to assume responsibility for their behavior and their own learning process. Expectations are carefully explained and recognition is given when students meet the expectations and accept responsibilities.
Hours of Operation
The Batt School is open from 8:30am to 9pm. Full time student hours are from 9am to 2:30pm, but can be scheduled according to individual circumstances.
Enrollment
The Batt School acknowledges open admission without discrimination on the basis of race, ethnic origin, color, or natural origin. Testing will be administered on an as needed basis prior to admission the the Batt School, and all previous school records must be forwarded to the Batt School.
Letter to Parents
Success in school–and beyond–depends upon the ability to think and write clearly and effectively. With that goal clearly in mind, the curriculum at The Batt School has been developed with an eye toward our students’ futures. Beginning as early as prekindergarten, our students are introduced to skills they will need again and again throughout their school careers. Critical reading and thinking, problem solving and analysis, deductive reasoning: all of these are an integral part of the Batt School’s learning program.
Batt’s high academic standards in all disciplines–including mathematics, language arts, science and social studies–assure that students will not simply score well on tests, but will excel in the real world.
