History: Our School’s Story – Batt family
Judie Batt-Yarnell and Roy Yarnell founded the Batt School in 1994. The school provides educational programs in a comfortable and stimulating setting enabling each child to develop to his or her fullest academic, social, and emotional potential. We guide our students toward becoming good citizens, kind and honest human beings, and responsible leaders. Our small class sizes enable us to provide maximum acceleration of curriculum and address the individual spirit of each child. Our goal is to create an environment where children develop a love of learning. In a small, nurturing educational environment, children will develop empathy, thoughtfulness, and consideration for others. They will develop the ability to form and nurture friendships, and learn honesty when dealing with themselves and others. Effective leaders are molded by self-discipline, appreciation of the value of hard work, and the ensuing sense of accomplishment and self-esteem. We are dedicated to the continuous pursuit of excellence in education for each child with whom we are entrusted.
